Shot over one December, mostly at night and mostly indoors — station corridors, apartment stairwells, a window that only worked after the lights went off. The walk up to Sensō-ji was the one thing I did in daylight.

The people I keep photographing. A few of these were sittings. Most were not — a window, a bar sign, whatever light was already in the room and one frame to get it right.

Coast and desert, a year apart, and it took me a while to see they belonged together. The Marin headlands, a shuttered market off the highway, hills that go gold about an hour before they go dark.

Paris / Berlin

6×6 · 6 colour, 6 black & white

Two cities that came back from the lab in the same batch, so I’ve never managed to separate them. Rooftops and crosswalks in the first. Treptower Park and the Plattenbauten in the second.

New York

2023–2026 · 9 frames · open

6×6 · 8 colour, 1 black & white

The one series I haven’t finished and probably won’t. Benches on the East River, the park in October, the long walk home. Almost all of it in colour, which is not how I started.
